Sandcastles

OK, so the closest beach is 3.5 hours away, but that doesn't mean that I can't post photos of the beach. It has been so hot lately that I thought it would be nice to post a 'cool' photo. This was taken on the beach in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, CA. (boy, was that a mouthful) but explains the structure of the sandcastle...a Mayan pyramid.

Beautiful photograph, Barb...the light is excellent and so are the colors. And the Mayan sand temple is amazing! I like the look on the boy's face, too.

Well done!

It's a beautiful sand pyramid — I think I like it better than castles.

Wishing you some cool days to break the heat. Take care.

Very nice picture! The boy must be talented. He is the kind of person who should consider becoming an architect. Amazing sand pyramid!
