The Folly

The first day back at work after 11 days off can be jam-packed and I knew I needed to get away at lunch. I took a drive thru the uptown historic district in Columbus. I was looking for fountains and almost missed this gem. The house is an octagon and was built by Leander May.

A very unusual house. But also very charming. Should be great if one has a large and beautiful garden.

A great looking place. And a super photo. Fascinating history to it, also. Glad that it remains in such good shape today.

Well spotted! I wonder what the rooms inside are like.
