Cheaha Trailhead of the Pinhoti Trail

This is one of the nicest trailheads I've seen lately. It is just outside of Cheaha State Park in the Talladega National Forest. The Pinhoti Trail runs 107 miles and connects with the Appalachian Trail.

We have lots of trailheads in Florida but none as nice as this! Is this an old, converted railroad bed?

107 miles. That would make a nice day's ride!

Heh, heh. Just kidding. Lois Anne did ride 50 miles one day in the heat. Darn near died, though.
