Olympic Legacy Plaza

In 1996, Columbus hosted Women's Softball for the Atlanta Olympics. This park area was dedicated to memorlize that event. The bricks have the names of donors. Off to the side is a group of sculptures of children playing softball. This is not the best photo, but you get the idea. These are life-size sculpture of 8 to 12 years olds.

This is a nice idea to recall memories of such a historic event like the Olympics. Soon they will be in South America for the first time ever.
Beautiful set of pictures!

It's a nice memorial. I really do like the sculptures of the girls playing softball! That's quite amazing!
