Street People

The 14th Street bridge has been a pedestrian zone for about eight years now. People use it to cross from Phenix City to Columbus and back. They ride their bikes, they walk, they fish, and they loiter. I usually give a wide berth to this last group. On this particular day I was on my way to check out the river below the dam. 'T' and his two friends were fishing. As I walked by, T asked me if I would take his picture. So I did.

Super portrait! Wow, wonder what he's thinking and what his story is.

Re the golf cars...in The Villages itself, you can drive them on the streets - and there are many miles of cart paths. And yes, most everybody in The Villages plays golf and they drive their own carts...

Nice. I've done that before too and then wish I could get them a copy.

How wonderful to have someone ask you to take their picture, I usually have to do it on the sly! Nice portrait.
