Shorter Mansion

Built in 1884 and remodeled in 1906 by Eli Sims Shorter II. Recognized as an outstanding example of Neo-Classical Revival architecture by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Shorter Mansion is the home of the Eufaula Historic Museum and the Eufaula Heritage Association.

That is an incredibly beautiful building...talk about an iconic southern mansion! I'll bet the museum is very interesting, too!

Grand! I love the ornamentation on the eaves and the columns!
