Fill Er Up

 Aquatic Filling Station
Lake Harding (aka Bartletts Ferry Reservoir), Valley, AL
This area is called the 'backwaters'. Not really sure why, but I suppose it has something to do with the fact that the lake is back (or behind) the dam. Growing up in the land of 10,000 lakes, a visit here feels a bit like going home. But wait, you can't go home again. Anyway, if you need fuel, they've got it.

This is the first time I have seen something like this. Years from living in the desert I guess. Nice shot.

Oh so nice! And yes, it does remind me of Minnesota...

With regard to going home again, you might enjoy my poem on Creative Confections:

With this heat, a lake is a great place to be right now!
