On the Road to Hurtsboro

Looking for some photo ops, I picked a place that would not be too long a drive and told TOM where we were heading. Hurtsboro, AL, about 30 miles southwest of Phenix City. At this point we are about half way to our destination. Tune in tomorrow for a look at what we found.

Such wide open spaces! Looking forward to seeing this Hurtsboro.

What are those flowering plants?
Can't wait for tomorrows post.

Looks like you found a field of potatoes right here.

Love the light painting in yesterdays post.

Lovely shot - it's like a breath of fresh air. I'd guess those are potato plants...or peanuts?

Hilda, Small City, Greensboro, and Jacob: Yes, I think these are potatoes. Quite a large field of them too.
