Confederate Monument
The seal of the confederacy is on the north face of the monument, dedicated in April 14, 1879 with 5,000 people attending of the cornerstone. Located in the median on Lower Broad Street, between Seventh and Eighth Streets. Dedicated to the soldiers of the confederacy.

Can't help but notice all the houses around the park now. But I'm glad to see that the area around the monument is still lovingly maintained.

It looks like it has undergone quite a few changes over the years. We have one that's undergone quite a bit too.
