Hoop Dancer at the Ossahatchee Indian Festival and Pow Wow

*****
We went to the Ossahatchee Indian Festival and Pow Wow in Hamilton, GA today.
First, it was a beautiful day to be outdoors.
Second, the GA State Trooper did not give TOM a speeding ticket.
Third, the costumes and regalia were really amazing.
Finally, lunch of an Indian Frybread Taco was satisfying and delicious.

Ah fry bread! Love it.

Isn't this amazing? Although I have been on a few reservations now, I've never been there at Pow Wow time. I did, however, see the Native American Dance Theater during their European tour in the late 1980s. It was incredible.

Superb shot, I can almost hear the drumming I love so much.

Fantastic! What amazing eye-hand coordination it must take to keep those hoops hooping!

Beautiful photo, too!
