The Old Barn

*****
On the way to the Festival, we came across this old barn. Of course, I had to stop and take a couple of shots. The roof is falling in and it has definitely seen better days, but I think it has a lot of character.

This is very interesting and of course you have to stop and take pictures! That's the law!

It's quite unique. You don't see many shaped like this - octagonal?

Probably won't last through another big wind, though!

Looks more like a yurt! Nice photo.

I would have stopped too. Funny..there's a completely dilapidated barn near where I live and I've been thinking of taking a photo eventhough it's old and rotted. Maybe because barns are an endangered species.

The barn is quite nice for an old one. I also enjoyed the Indian Festival.

Reminds me of the barn I posted on my blog on Friday. They are really interesting, and it does look like a yurt.

It does have a lot of character. They knew how to build in those days.

I love these old barns with character. It will be sad when they all collapse.
