Whirly Gig

My grandfather used to make these whimsical yard toys. In the ones he made, the character was either sawing a log or chopping wood. He sold them out of the 'camp store' that he and my grandmother ran. Unfortunately, none were ever saved for family members. This one is crafted out of metal and was a Christmas gift from my mom. This one has a hunter being 'hunted' by a deer.

That's so sad that you have none of your grandfather's work! I'm sure it was exquisite. This is very nice, too, and would fit in just about any yard!
