I like lifeguard stations and this is a great capture of one! We don't have any in Orange Beach since we have been reduced to swimming at our own risk. I like the idea of swimming at someone else's risk. THAT would be fun!
That's a little fancier and a bit higher than most lifeguard posts along the Atlantic side...but I think it's necessary in Daytona...lots more people, usually, and lots more drunks who get in trouble in the water!
And it looks soooooo much better!
The lifeguard towers on Pensacola Beach and elsewhere around here are portables. I guess in case of hurricanes...
