And the Storm Arrived

An hour before this shot, the skies were clearing; clouds interspersed with blue sky. Imagine my surprise to look up and see this storm moving [fast] in from the west. This is not the best, the eastern portion of they sky is overexposed and we have some reflecting light, but I think you get the idea.

I dislike these fast-moving storms intensely...they often signify tornadoes here in Florida...scary!

Re your question: Jacob Anson is my pen name, but I'm doing very little writing these days, so thought I might as well switch to my given name... :-)

Now you see, I love watching a storm approach, but probably not if we had tornadoes, that would be a bit nerve wracking. I've been along the beach at times and watched as it got closer and then made a mad dash for the car just in time!! Terrific shot of the approaching storm.

I'm with PDP on this one. I saw a tornado once from a distance in Virginia and the storm I was enjoying suddenly seemed so much more scary.

This is actually a very good shot...

Oh, man! That is a scary looking storm! It's so cool how you got all of it in the photo as well as that neat shaped garden down below.
