An exploration of the Chattahoochee Valley which includes the communities of Phenix City, Alabama, Columbus, Georgia, and Fort Benning, Georgia. I hope you enjoy your visit.
mmm ... good find here, Barb. Amazing what some fans will do to indicate their fanatacism! Although he was also called a loving husband and father. I do like the foal and the deer that (perhaps a grandchild) someone has placed beside the grave marker. I guess all the Alabama footy stuff would have to be renewed on a regular basis due to destruction by the weather.
Thank you for yet another contribution to Taphophile Tragics. There are so many fascinating stories out there, that people are researching and posting online. I appreciate your participation, Barb.

ah... had to look up Roll Tide. Now I get it.
Nice find.
Very much so!
To each his own...
Well of course I had to Google it too, interesting find there Barb.
Yep, they stay solid fans even into the afterlife!
Very interesting. Not sure it's what I'd want on my grave, but he must have been loyal.
My goodness. That is sad. Hard to believe that fan loyalty trumps other expressions of love that might be left here to commemorate a life.
I guess that's why fans are fanatics.
