An exploration of the Chattahoochee Valley which includes the communities of Phenix City, Alabama, Columbus, Georgia, and Fort Benning, Georgia. I hope you enjoy your visit.
I am, too. This “confusing mess” reminds me of my f=girlfriend driving in Ireland on the wrong side of the road and coming to an intersection with gobs of signs pointing in every direction imaginable. We would look at each other, pretty much flip a mental coin, and take off again. We were always getting lost. This is a great find. genie
That's a winner! I posted one from Williston, Florida awhile back that was similar to this! So funny. How's a person supposed to digest all that driving up to an intersection? Sheesh!
At least the East 280 and the West 280 are consistent and in agreement. That would take your attention from what is actually happening on the road in front of you.
Love this shot, Barb! Just the kind of thing that makes me chuckle... Come on over and enter it in 'Weekly Top Shot.' We're on Week #16, I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=6115
15 Visits to the Valley:
Hahahaha! that's brilliant1 You would not be on your own here Barb, that's CRAZY!! I bet a man would look at that sign and go 'what's the problem'
I'd like to know what direction I was coming from!
But I don't think even that knowledge would help with this decision.

Too much information!!!!:)

And the navigator is screaming - what do you mean you can't figure out what lane to be in!!!!
Oh yes wee have all been there, and we have all gone huh? What bright bureaucrat designed this?
OMG - I would come to a screeching halt and study that group for a long time. Which direction is up?!?
I have to assume that the road department knows what they are doing at this intersection! :)
Holy crap! I wonder if a GPS would help? Ha ha!
The only thing that confuses me about these signs is why they left the Hwy 80 East sign askew like that. My inner Monk is dying to fix it!

Actually I'd be grateful for it!
This must really bewildered the tourist. I must admit when I travel in the USA I find the road signs offer better directions than we have in Canada.
Too funny!
