Birds of a Feather ...

*****
... flock together for the second detonation of the E&P dam. This bald eagle flew into the area seconds before the detonation. As bystanders, we were conflicted about what we should be shooting. On this occasion, it paid to have two cameras on hand. Today's blast took a 75 foot section to the right of the blast on Wednesday. The remaining 50 foot section will be removed with heavy equipment.

Sometimes one needs to carry more than one camera as you have proven. That eagle shot is magnificent! And all I can say about the 2nd photo is "Boom!"

Well done Barb, amazing that you got two excellent shots. I can just imagine your dilemma haha! Thanks for the info on the reason for the dams, I'm so curious as to the why's and wherefores!
