College Hill Bear Trail

Ocmulgee Bear: Part of the College Hill Bear Trail in Macon, GA
The trail currently consists of 6 bears painted by local professional artists in an effort to get Maconites and visitors to walk the city. You can see some of the other bears on the The World This Week blog here and here. Ocmulgee Bear in is Washington Park.

What a great idea Barb. I think other cities around the world do the same thing with different animals. When I was in London it was cows!!

Those kinds of things have really taken off. I think they began around here with cows that people then painted. Great idea, Barb.

After I was hacked I had to give up my old user name and the blogs that went with it. My Birds Blog was among the give-ups.
