Bench of Convenience

On the Alabama side of the Chattahoochee river. Most of the lumber used in the construction of the dam
130 years ago will be reclaimed. The wood is heart pine, very hard, and nearly indestructible. Unfortunately, trash in the area is increasing along with the pedestrian traffic. I do not understand why people cannot haul the trash back up the hill that they carried down.

I'm with you there Barb, litter dropping is one of my pet hates. Why people think they can treat the world like one big trash can is unbelievable! Love the rustic old bench, but see potential for splinters in the nether regions haha!

I find that bench very attractive. On the other hand I find the fact that so many people are slobs to be very depressing!

It looks a bit rickety and also sturdy at the same time, or is it just me being very tired tonight?

Why oh why is it so difficult to put one's trash in a bin?
