Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta

*****
Centennial Olympic Park - follow the link for the history of the park. I was not able to find any information about the sculpture in the background, but I really liked it. The park is in the neighborhood with the World of Coke, the Georgia Aquarium, Phillips Arena. During the 1996 Summer Olympics, this park was the location of numerous activities. This park was also bombed on 27 July and this sculpture bears the imprint of a nail that was used in the homemade bomb.

Yes, somewhere there is an imprint of the nail from the bombing as you noted. I think there is also some other remnants from that night (holes or dents from the bomb) but don't know where.
