Gone, But Not Forgotten

As work moves forward on the 14th Street bridge, it gets harder to remember what it used to look like. I went for my bi-weekly stroll with the camera and looked down and saw this piece of the old bridge railing along with a lot of other construction garbage. I hope it all gets cleaned up when the job is done. We don't need this stuff to stay in the river bed and I am sure the kayakers, inner-tubers, and rafters would agree.

Yikes, what a mess. Of course, "they" may leave it there telling everyone the stuff is good for the fish...gives them a place to hide. :-)
