Color Me Rad 5K

*****
Uptown Columbus at Woodruff Park. These are some of the characters we saw in the run today. The money earned will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network. I believe they had a 3500 runner limit and I think we must have got pretty close to that number today. As you can see, runners (and walkers) are happy people and were more than willing to have their photos taken. We participated only as photographers this year, but if they have a reenactment next year, we are going to enter.

Color Me Rad is a way to lift your spirits and brighten your outlook. You start in white and end in a tie-dyed haze. In each zone, you are 'bombed' with a different color: red, pink, yellow, green, and purple. The color bombs are made of colored corn starch and are non-toxic.

I believe this event is also part of Artbeat in Columbus. Have a colorful weekend everyone.
Note: If you participated in the run and see your photo in one of the collages, send me an email and I will send you a digital copy.

That looks and sounds like a lot of fun! Don't forget to take photos of yourself when you join next year.

Oh I love the doggy with the pink goggles Barb, too cute. We had a similar thing here in Perth last year, I think it could be a lot of fun!

Great collages! Lois is a runner and I always took lots of photos. Runners, as you noted, inevitably love to have their pictures taken! I love all the colorful clothing and hair and facial paint!

What fun pictures! They did one here in Charleston this weekend as well. Weren't you worried about powder on your camera or is that not a problem?
