Shoreline Grill

*****
Specializing in seafood and frogs legs in particular. In the area called the Backwaters, this was the location for the rehearsal dinner. Food was good, but service was slow. Probably had something to do with the group size. Hope you are having a great Saturday.

I'll pass on the Frogs Legs.

"We Have Frog Legs" is somehow sort of absurd here. Is that because it looks like a movie marquee, or because frogs legs are generally associated with fine dining..?!

Have you been eating out a lot of late! I was gone for a few days and you're still posting pics of restaurants! ;)

Have you ever eaten frog legs? I have not. They are a specialty here along Highway 41 which goes from Miami to Naples. Along with frog legs is, of course, gator meat. I've not eaten that, either, but guess what it tastes like. You're right! Chicken!

Are you sure they weren't slow because of the frog legs? They prevented the waiters and waitresses from walking so fast. LOL A little joke there, sorry about that, couldn't pass it up.

One year our son took me out on a Sat. eve. before Mother's Day, we went to a very nice place to eat, I got a seafood platter and frog legs were on the platter, I would never order them myself. I thought they seemed a little tough or perhaps it was muscle from all the hopping they once did.

Most places like this aren't set up to serve big groups...but, hey, if the food was good...
