The River after Rain

We had rain for a solid 24 hours; finally stopping this morning. It is still pretty grey outside and the temperatures are starting to drop, but we won't get as cold as other parts of the country. At least I hope not. We plan to look at some of the Christmas lights tonight, so maybe I can share some holiday lights tomorrow. Stay warm and dry.

We've been having lots of flooding in different area around us, but thank goodness nothing close by. When daughter and granddaughter were coming back from shopping, she said they were putting down slurry (not sure how it's spelled) so they must think something is coming. I hope not, our one daughter has to drive about 35 miles which isn't too far, but it's just her, with her bad knees and her 14 year old son. I'm sure I'll be seeing you on Facebook, but if not have a very Merry Christmas.

It looks like a brooding kind of image.

Have a Merry Christmas.

We're having gale force winds and the coasts are battered :-(
This shot has a lovely winter quality to it.
