A [Feast] of Leftovers

We, like all good Americans have a plethora of leftovers after our Thanksgiving feast. Some of those leftovers were in the form of sourdough bread from my son's MIL. Before it got dried out past the point of no return, I decided to make French Toast for breakfast this morning. Looks pretty good with a sprinkle of pecans and good ol' maple syrup. I hope you spent time with friends and family for a good meal this week. Bon appetit!

Black and White Challenge -Day 4

Social hour at the local froyo shop. The new happy hour.

Black and White Challenge - Day 3

I pulled this one from the archives. The [construction] road leads down to the river with the Columbus skyline in the background.

Black and White Challenge - Day 2

Looks a bit like a Mondrian painting, but is actually the ceiling above my cube.

Remains of the Mott House

They have not yet determined the cause of the fire and until they do they cannot do anything. Tear it down, rebuild, or reinforce it and leave it as is.

Theme Day -Landmarks

It just so happened that I had a photo that I could use for theme day. I spent time at the Springer Opera House for a ghost tour yesterday. We learned about the history of the opera house as well as about some of the benevolent spirits who reside there. The Springer opened in 1871. The three-level building was home to an open air market on the first level. The opera house located on the second floor and a hotel on the third floor (now offices).
We are in the Grand Salon. I wanted to show you the hand-painted wallpapers; all of them in the building.
